We are looking for a talented Digital Designer / Art Director to join our team. You will shape the creative direction of all creative work that we produce at Forsta across a range of projects, including; lifestyle, travel, retail and technology services or products.

Responsibilities

• Lead strong conceptual direction for design
• Ability to conceptualise digital campaign ideas
• Assist client teams with the formulation of their digital strategy
• Interpret clients’ needs as outlined in creative briefs and translate them into compelling visual designs
• Design Web interfaces and web graphics with attention to usability and visual flow
• Create powerful, integrated user experiences using appropriate design theory, content, navigational structures, and usability best practices
• Adhering to the CI and style-guides
• Think responsively and for mobile friendliness
• Successfully meet project schedules and deadlines

Skills Required

• High-level knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, specifically)
• Strong understanding and the use of current online/digital technology and social media
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and a creative thinker
• Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment with poise and professionalism
• Works well independently with minimal direction/oversight, as well as proven team player
• Good understanding of the capabilities and limitations of front-end web development tools including HTML, CSS and JavaScript, as well as digital platforms as a whole. web-based, mobile, social, etc.
• Basic understanding of Google drive and Docs.

The following skills would be a bonus, but also extremely valued:

• Video editing/Motion graphics experience
• Illustration/Drawing skills
• UI/UX documentation and smartphone platforms a plus
• Ability to code is not necessary but a plus
• Front end web/Basic coding knowledge
