Forstå is looking for a talented Mid-Senior Content Manager to join our Cape Town team. Applicants must have relevant experience in content creation and syndication, which they can apply to a number of clients timeously and efficiently. Part of this will also extend to the Forstå brand.

Core Responsibilities

• Ensure there is constant communication with client service/relevant teams to ensure internal and client deadlines are met
• Develop and implement social media and content strategy across a portfolio of clients
• Curate and generate compelling, SEO-friendly content on behalf of clients
• Recommend process/systems to ensure efficient and timely execution
• Work with designers to create outstanding graphic content
• Maintain and update clients social media calendars
• Execute day-to-day social media initiatives on behalf of clients
• Post content and drive user engagement
• Moderate user content and escalate as required
• Provide analytics reports and recommendations on future optimization
• Stay abreast of industry developments and trends to ensure we are offering client the best solutions

Requirements

• A degree or diploma in English, journalism or copywriting
• At least three to five years’ experience within an agency
• Outstanding command of English
• Proficient in SEO
• Proficiency with WordPress, TweetDeck, Buffer, CoSchedule and Photoshop
• Exceptional skills in copywriting, copyediting and proofreading
• An extremely good eye for detail
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Excellent project management skills
• Must be able to perform under pressure.
